Reminder to chorus!

Chorus,
we are now having Tuesday and Thursday rehearsals at 8:00am to get prepared for our upcoming performances. Please bring in money for shirts! I would love for us to all have matching shirts for chorus! The money needs to be in by next week at the latest!

Crabtree Valley Mall Performance

We will be performing at Crabtree Valley Mall on December 13 at 5:00 pm! It is an honor to perform at  Crabtree. I will be sending home another permission form this week about the performance. You will need to wear holiday colors with jeans to the performance.

Dear Parents and students in the chorus,

We are getting ready for two different performances! The first one is November 15 at Barnes and Noble at the Cary Towne Center. The students need to be at Barnes and Noble no later than 6:40 pm to perform and 7:00. The students are doing a great job and expect to see all tracks out at Barnes and Noble for their performance. Our next performance we are getting ready for, is the Pieces of Gold performance.  The audition will either be on December 4 or December 5 at Daniels Middle School in Raleigh. We will receive the exact date and time in a few weeks. We are auditioning to perform in a big performance for Pieces of Gold in February 2013. I have gone over with the students many times that we need to work hard. If we do not make Pieces of Gold, we are taking it as a learning experience. Not everyone makes everything.  We will need parent help and possible transportation to the school for auditions. I need to know by November 6 if you can help with transportation and chaperoning. The students that are tracked out at that time (track1) are still expected to go to Pieces of Gold. Every student has a very important part in the performance. If they are not there, we do not have a complete ensemble.

 As the students know, we need to have full commitment to this wonderful ensemble. Please sign and print your name on the back paper stating that your child will be performing in Pieces of Gold on December 4^th or 5^th at Daniels Middle School.

I need the signed paper by NOVEMBER 1, 2012. If I do not get the signed paper by November 1 your child will not get the privilege of going to Pieces of Gold.

I am sending home a reminder letter about the winter musical today. Keep an eye out for the letter!

Dear parents and students,

Tracks 1 and 3 will be performing their winter musical Tuesday, November 27 at 6:30 PM. Tracks 2 and 4 will be performing their winter musical on Wednesday, December 19 at 6:30. Please start sending students in with hats, gloves, scarves, and any other winter apparel they may use as their costumes. Please send their costumes in a bag with their full name and teacher name. The students are doing a great job so far and very excited about the winter musical!
