Thanksgiving in music class!

This week in music we are discussing Thanksgiving. One of the songs that we are learning is "Five Fat Turkeys." This song is a silly song that the students love to sing. We are learning how to sing with proper singing voices, singing as an ensemble, keeping a steady beat, and dramatizing music. In many of the lessons I teach, the students will dramatize the music they sing and play. Dramatizing is important for children in self expression.
